SevenMail and Apple Mail
Where SevenMail is different
Boards and tasks
Apple Mail suggests a reminder or an event. SevenMail suggests a task with a link back to the mail, and puts your mail on a board.
An AI on your Mac
Both use Apple Intelligence on your Mac. SevenMail adds sorting into lanes with a reason, questions about your mail and replies in your own words.
One price
SevenMail costs EUR 8.99 a month or EUR 79.99 a year; Apple Mail is part of macOS.
SevenMail and Apple Mail
Switching
Your mail, labels and stars live in Gmail. Switching is signing in with Google.
- 1Sign in with Google
In SevenMail, choose your Google account. That is the whole setup.
- 2Your mail is already there
Labels, stars and the archive live in Gmail, so they appear as you left them.
- 3Copy what stays behind
Settings inside the old app do not move. Copy what you want to keep first.
You can use both: Apple Mail and SevenMail read the same Gmail account, so nothing has to be moved. Rules you set up in Apple Mail stay in Apple Mail.

Questions
Is SevenMail released?+
Not yet. A closed beta comes first; the waitlist on the home page is the way in. The table marks what is in the beta and what is planned, and we change this page when that changes.
Do I need SevenMail if Apple Mail has Apple Intelligence?+
Not if summaries, suggested replies and a list of mail are enough. SevenMail is for people who want their mail as a board with tasks, sorted into lanes with a reason.
Is Apple Intelligence in Mail available everywhere?+
Apple’s guide says it is not available in all languages or regions and that usage limits may apply. SevenMail’s AI depends on Apple Intelligence too, so the same availability applies; without it, sorting falls back to Gmail’s categories and simple rules.
